Is that supposed to be funny

Far from having a funny bone bypass, after the initial chuckle raised by the sign, it started eating at me on the way home. As well as on the pitch I think the club has come on leaps and bounds off the pitch since the dark days of Jobson telling people to support another club. Ok so the accounts are still MIA but I think the club actually treats its customers like human beings these days, demonstrated by the way they've listened to demand and opened the ticket office longer. On top of that we have a website thats readable, a Nike kit and the commercial dept are bringing in the sponsors. I think the club are gradually getting there so on the flipside I saw that comment as a dig at the fact another train journey is in the offing.

I apologise for any offence caused by my initial post, My point was basically one of "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones", If the trust sees fit to make jest of the clubs travel issues then surely the club is more then entitled to make a tongue in cheek remark back at the trust. Personally I think the Trust does a stellar job with the coaches.

However I'm surprised your still taking offence over the Hidden Agenda jibe, I thought the whole comment was now seen in jest seeing that there were Beaver Free posters at Oxford?.

So onto more pressing matters.....is this Claire single?

But Beaver did not know about the "Beaver Free Zone" signs until he saw the other coaches. I don't know who started that - I wonder

That's just the point, the Club is coming on leaps & bounds & so to is the Trust, which I might add has a very good relationship with the club at present.

Do you honestly think that the Trust have not taken some stick & friendly banter from club employees over the Coach to Grimsby, however we don't go online & slag them off about it as soon as we get home.

Yes I still do get upset over the Agenda stuff (and it wasn't a jibe - the bloke who started it really does believe I have an agenda to bring the club down) especially as it was & still is totally unfounded as anyone who knows me will tell you, however I take the Beaver Signs as a joke (and yes it is funny) from one of my colleagues in the Trust. And in fact I now have a collection of them, and even put them up in the coaches I run.

As I said earlier, look out for the sign of the Beaver on the hut tomorrow

Have you spoken to said person to know that they actually believe this 'bringing down the club'.

As from my reading of the posts it was mainly down to getting a reaction and what a reaction it has achieved. As it seems that TLO and yourself do tend to mention quite a lot.

Also thanks for the idea about running coaches, I have now organised my maiden trip and hope it is enjoyable for all who have taken a punt to join us.

Of course if it proves successful I might organise a few more next season.

BTW if the above was humorous then I am just glad you did not write the scripts for BlackAdder.

The answer to your first question - Yes, he PM'd me when that first Agenda post was locked all those months ago and he firmly believes I do have an agenda.

Secondly, the original Agenda post was not to 'get a reaction' as you put it, it was a personal dig at me, and this post started off in the same vein because someone decided it was worth trying to score points again without knowing the facts.
Yes we do mention it a lot, but in jest and we have I hope turned it around on the original poster.

Good luck - hope you don't do anything wrong - you will be crucified on here

Well, sorry I got the wrong end of the stick. It's just that when that whole "agenda" issue blew up a while ago, it was about the trains. I was just a bit surprised that it would be voluntarily raised again...

But maybe that's because I'm a rather humourless individual...
