Yeah and only room for one way traffic to get into Roots Hall!

Poor traffic management if you ask me!

Causes more delays on Victoria Avenue too.

Surely its better to do this now then during a season when we are playing home matches at least once a fortnight?

My guess is that this has been arranged for a while, so it didn't clash with the football season, but seeing as we had to settle for a place in the play-offs, it is clashing. After saturday I can't see it being too much of a problem.
Fair comment mate!

Quote[/b] (Kenny @ May 24 2005,17:24)]Just got back, queue wasn't too bad at about half 4, there was a very very lovely friendly young lady working the far booth.

On another note, while I was queueing I noticed on the Trust hut they have a sign up saying "VACANCY - TRAIN DRIVER NEEDED, Apply to the Commercial Deparrtment". Surely if the Trust are having another little dig at the club over the LDV train fiasco then surely the Commercial dept should have their own sign up re:Grimsby saying "PETROL NEEDED, please give any spare barrels to the trust".....Although I'm sure the club have got better things to do!
Some people really really need to get a sense of humour bypass.

This has absoloutley bugger all to do with the LDV Trains Fiasco.

It is a joke, which as far as I am aware all parties involved found quite funny.

Just for the record I printed the sign & stuck it up.

I have just spent the best part of 10 hours in the Hut selling Coach Tickets today and I do not need to come home & find these purile comments.

I would suggest that before any further comments are made that people try to actually try to find out how members of the Trust & SUFC Staff work together at times like this, and that at times a bit of light hearted banter is required & accepted.

So if people want to have a pop at anybody, have a pop at me. I did it, not the Trust & as you all know I apparently have an agenda to bring the club down anyway

Be of good cheer, my tree-chewing-dam-building fellow supporter! 95% of people on here fully understand the commitment and sheer hard work that you and your fellow trust workers have to devote to this sort of thing, and they honestly do appreciate it. 2.5% don't really get it, but mean no harm, and the rest are just stirring it or deeply challenged!

It just gets to me when people make ill informed & unfounded comments. All Kenny had to do was actually come to the Hut & ask us about it.

Instead he chose to try & score points on here.

Once again we are struggling with the facts !

Brian (The Fat Controller) Wheeler and Ross Hill saw the advert today and both found it amusing. I did offer them a ex-pier train driver but they declined the offer due to his lack of experience on bends.

Looks to me like someone saw it and could not get home quick enough to report on here - very sad. Thought it was the Trust that had a agenda to score points !!

If SUFC were not happy about the notice they would not be advertising SUSCT coaches on their website.
