Don't know where you get 2000 from, from what Dave Scriven was saying it's more like a few hundred. Now not everyone who is going to the Hull game will be able to go to the Man U game, so I don't see the overlap as being massive. Also, I was told that the club are going to make every effort to have as many seats as possible available, including minimising the segregation. Also imagine the extra time it would take to check every ticket to see if it came from a "black listed" section before issuing the MsnUre ticket.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,11:30)]Exactly, I can see it kicking off or getting a bit nasty![b said:Quote[/b] (glensufc @ Oct. 30 2006,11:27)]Why does the club do things like that? If they know the north west corner is not available for the Man U game then why not state that tickets from that section for the Hull match will not be valid for a Man U ticket.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,10:31)]Hull game is fully sold out![b said:Quote[/b] (Smiffy @ Oct. 30 2006,10:30)]Is the Hull game actually sold out yet?...
Do we have part of the North Bank tomorrow night...
We have the whole corner of the north bank, hence why even if you have a hull ticket you aren't guaranteed a Man Utd one.
Now you have a position where there's going to be plenty of p1ssed off people on Wednesday, especially if they have queued for many hours not to get a ticket.
there will be around 2,000 ****ed off people!
Because it would penalise people who had bought their tickets before we knew about the ManUre game. Johny Come Lately types would get a ticket up front, fans who had already purchased their tickets would have to scramble for the leftovers.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,11:32)]Why didnt they do it for non season ticket holders that when you get your ticket for hull you also get your man utd one?
Would save so much hassle!
If? if?[b said:Quote[/b] (Kenny @ Oct. 30 2006,11:40)]if we thrash Man U five nil and draw another big gun in the next round it might help speed things up a bit.
Whilst holders of ticket stubs for the Hull City game may receive first priority after season ticket holders, it has been made quite clear on this forum for the past few days that there is no guarantee of purchasing a ticket for the Manchester United game; however I think Scriv might need to think about putting such information on the official site just to clarify the position and therefore let as many people as possible understand that there is no binding covenant![b said:Quote[/b] (leeblue @ Oct. 30 2006,11:42)]... i understand they have sold tickets for the north west corner, which will not be available for the man u game due to seggragation all this could lead to some P****d off southend supporters come wednesday
It has been confirmed by Scriv that there are around 5,500 season ticket holders this season.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,12:39)]We have 7000 ST im told
We have 2000 Man Utd coming down
That leaves around 2,500 seats?
However you slice the numbers if they have sold a section of the ground for the Hull match that isn't available for the Man U game then there's going to be disappointment.[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Oct. 30 2006,12:08)]It has been confirmed by Scriv that there are around 5,500 season ticket holders this season.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,12:39)]We have 7000 ST im told

It has been confirmed that Manchester United have received 1,800 tickets for the North Stand.
The working capacity of Roots Hall is around 11,500; that leaves around 4,000 tickets for Hull City tickets holders and the general public.
Take away the segregation and the 2 corner blocks that wont be open (silly i know) that leaves it at arounf 3000 / 3500 is then.[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Oct. 30 2006,12:08)]It has been confirmed by Scriv that there are around 5,500 season ticket holders this season.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,12:39)]We have 7000 ST im told

Of course there will be. But the point is that the club shouldn't hide away from the fact that non-season ticket holders who attend the Hull City game are not guaranteed a ticket for the Manchester United game. It's known to us here on ShrimperZone, thanks to Scriv, but as many people as possible should be aware so we don't the tired old "club are crap" comments come Thursday evening.[b said:Quote[/b] (glensufc @ Oct. 30 2006,13:26)]However you slice the numbers if they have sold a section of the ground for the Hull match that isn't available for the Man U game then there's going to be disappointment.
I'm pretty sure the 11,500 is the working capacity of the stadium with the necessary segregation and corner blocks taken into consideration. I believe the actual capacity is around 12,300 but don't quote me on that; I'm just going by information given to me a couple of years ago by a member of the ground staff.[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,13:26)]Take away the segregation and the 2 corner blocks that wont be open (silly i know) that leaves it at arounf 3000 / 3500 is then.[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Oct. 30 2006,12:08)]

Not sure I agree with that.[b said:Quote[/b] (Firestorm @ Oct. 30 2006,12:37)]Personally, although it is unworkable, I would like to see anyone who bought their Hull Ticket before last Tuesday, being guaranteed a Man U ticket similar to the way the season ticket holders have had theirs guaranteed.
that way anyone who was going to a bottom of the table clash on a tuesday evening , regardless, would get the acknowledgement
(The payment date is on the stub, so it could be workable, those with a stub dated before 24/10 tickets on sale wednesday then a free for all for the rest of the Hull ticket holders on thursday. loyal fans duly sorted....)
My thoughts exactly, if I didn't have a season ticket and a friend who is willing to get my ticket I wouldn't bother. Give me Macclesfield away any day of the week - I genuinely mean that.[b said:Quote[/b] (glentheblue @ Oct. 30 2006,13:00)]if i didnt have season ticket dont think i could be bothered to que if i wernt garunteed a ticket myself imo.
true, but Hull at home tickets have been on sale for some while now ...[b said:Quote[/b] (SUFC4EVER @ Oct. 30 2006,12:46)]Not sure I agree with that.[b said:Quote[/b] (Firestorm @ Oct. 30 2006,12:37)]Personally, although it is unworkable, I would like to see anyone who bought their Hull Ticket before last Tuesday, being guaranteed a Man U ticket similar to the way the season ticket holders have had theirs guaranteed.
