Sky are a bunch of over-priced morons who should get back in their premiershite hole and leave us alone.

7.15 my a?@!, who do they thin they are? 'We hate Sky-aye, we hate Sky-aye' should be the new chant in two weeks time.

Ok I'll get there for 7.15, but it doesn't make things any easier when I've already got to drive 55 miles in rush hour traffic including a pick up point in deepest Chelmsford for SS Jnr.

Wanna bet, my two workmates have already been told this afternoon that they won't be allowed an early start/finish and when they offered to move their rostered day off they just got laughed at and told, 'that's not policy'. :nope:

Well modern work practices innit :nope:

The kick-off time could be something to do with the UEFA broadcasting regulations; for example Premier League games cannot be broadcast live on the same night as a Champions League fixture. As Sky are one of the host broadcasters for the CL it wouldn't surprise me if there was a restriction re k/o times even for the JPT trophy!

Perfect timing for me personally but fairplay to everyone that has to travel miles, does seem stupid in that respect.

I imagine that the country will grind to a halt to watch this.

It wouldn't suprise me if these two games have a similar effect to the Jubilee and cause the country to enter a triple dip recession.

I do.But Bar$a's game clashes with Southend's.That means that any English/Irish pub showing our game will just switch over before the end.:whistling:

Surely there'll be pubs with multiple screens out there.

I guess I'm in the same position but I'm sure a pub over here will keep our game on on a couple of screens for me.

so tickets are on sale now right? my idiot mate (shameo) said they wasnt on sale yet?

Home tie tickets went on sale at the same time as the away tickets, got mine when they went on general sale on 28th January as I wanted more than my ST allocation.

According to East Stand Blue's earlier post there is no additional money for a live JPT game. Apart from any additional expenses that we would not normally have spent if it was not a live game.

So whats the point ?

It will certainly mean less people go to the game, so we basically lose money being on TV.

Sounds bizarre if thats the case..
