Transfer News and Gossip Joe Gubbins signs on 2 year deal

Transfer news
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
I am just glad we have a team, are able to watch games, and are almost normal again.
Two great signings no doubt, but talks of “****ing the league” are premature.
Let’s get the takeover done, a decent pre-season behind us and then see where we’re at.

All very sensible. But we are going to **** the league. Acknowledge us.

So if he starts LCB and Ralph starts LWB, Bridge drifts inside and essentially replaces Wes? Sounds good to me.
Bridge at LWB is what makes us tick as it creates a mismatch. If you push him further forward he’ll get picked up by an actual defender. Having Bridge as a defender makes the opposition choose between sacrificing an attacking player or being run ragged down there.

Although HMS **** the league might be arrogant there is no reason to think we won’t be pushing top three in the table. The squad last season accumulated enough points to be in the play offs. We’ve lost Powell, Fonguck, Sandat, Martin and Dackers. We’ve already brought in two excellent additions with more expected in the coming weeks. No reason to think this squad playing without off field pressure can’t give us a season to remember
