I , would be happy with Keller, Vassell and Pearson, all good battlers and all 3 contracts up this year, or for next year in League 2
Very strange considering a month ago both were saying they would like 6/7 coming in and some would be leavingInteresting, perhaps Ron has accepted relegation and won't make funds available until the end of the season when we can release those whose contracts are up.

This would make sense, however I hope RM&SC take the opportunity to get a few new players in, both in terms of planning ahead (players who fit the way we will play under SC) & stopping the rot (it’ll be hard for the players to remove such an abysmal season from their psyche, so we must minimise this damage).
I do wonder if Hamilton will be sent back to Man Utd - is this possible under the current rules? - as he is clearly not in SC plans. Same for Ndukwu, who has have very little match time.
The other obvious player who has not featured much is Simon Cox: do you get rid of him now or see it out? Personally I’d keep him until end of season as I reckon he’ll have a part to play yet.
Of course, much has been said previously of who should go, who should stay, etc but I don’t think we should not go making wholesale changes in January, 4/5 maximum, as it will take some time to blend the new players into the squad. I appreciate that there is a reasonable call for this being exactly the right time for wholesale changes as we’re unlikely to stay up, so what does it matter, however we really don’t know SC plans for January so, as I do every year, I am looking forward with a child like excitement for the coming transfer window.
Wasn’t just Ron saying it,Sol also said the same and that they were working on targetsI thought Ron was delusional at the time to say that. We’ve been down for months. If a good player somehow becomes available and is interested then we’d be mad not to get them in. But that’s a pretty big if. We shouldn’t break the bank in this window coz we’re already down so might as well re-build the squad in the summer with a load of free transfers.

No point in getting anyone in unless they are league 2-ready. Prem loanees would be as useless as the rest weve had. If you count injured players then we in fact quite a large bloated squad that needs trimming before any incomings. All we can do is wait until this wretched season is over and have a complete clearout.
I'd also read that as saying that it will depend on releasing players to free up money/contracts.
In short, RM can't fund squad additions, unless space is made and that might be what is leaving Sol in limbo, so to speak.
Can’t send the loans back unless both teams agreed to a break clause initially, of course discussions can happen but usually that’s the league rules these daysWe need to get players in now for next season so we can hit L2 running.
Some try before you buys on loan please.
Theo is set for talks with Col Ewe to see what happens.
Hamilton and Ndukwu will presumably go back to their parent clubs.

Then that’s fine but there has been no news on this from the club, personally think Hamilton has been ok, Ndukwu has been awful in his brief appearances so not to botheredThe parent clubs have already made the decision for us.
