Transfer News and Gossip James Golding joins on loan

Transfer news
Well! I never saw that coming
Reading some of his bio looks like a good loan sign and again we are looking at younger players who are not at their full potential so, they themselves will want to impress to be able to pursue their careers. I am glad the club is bringing in the younger players now however, there is always a need for an older couple of players purely down to experience which can be past on to the younger ones.

Welcome to our club James (it’s the best club in the world) - as long as you give 100% out on that pitch and to our club we will support you wherever.

Comment from a Barnet fan:

"Excellent signing. Built like a tank but so comfortable on the ball and has a great passing range."

Could he be our Kensdale replacement?

And regarding the recall from Maidenhead and putting 2 and 2 together and making 8 in true SZ fashion:

We have money to spend, and let Oxford know we want/have made an offer, providing we can see how each party likes each other before making the move permanent.
Sensible deal for both parties for now see how he settles in and if does well for us sounds like he’s got potential too if we make it permanent .

Gubbins is fit again.

So why did we sign someone on a short term loan - surely not just to sit on the bench as cover v Brentwood in the Trophy?

Is the plan therefore to play him ahead of Crowther now he’s trained with everyone?
Needs managing very carefully, whoever's dropped (if anyone) will probably be gutted.

Well at the moment, whenever a central defender is injured it is covered by Ralph going to the Left Centre Back position. Looks very much like Kevin wants to play Ralph at Left Wing Back at the expense of Jack Bridge. We have been short of cover defensively since Kensdale departed.
