No excuse for some of the behaviour that day, but speaking as someone who was at the final, I can safely say Brent Council need to take their share of the blame. When you treat football fans like dogs, you can’t be surprised when they bite you.
 
I was starting to think that hey, previous WC’s were full of bribery and controversy, this one isn’t much different. Then I heard the FIFA president’s speech .. **** me. This is a bit of a farce.

If someone struggling to make ends meet took the money I could understand, when someone with millions in the bank is willing to do it though then it's much harder to justify.

One of the weirdest speeches ever anywhere. Playing the victim as a ginger, and saying he was bullied for being ginger with freckles. That speech shows he is not worthy to represent FIFA, and the speech was certainly not worthy of a World Cup.

I mean, the weirdest part for me was looking at him and wondering why, if he was once a ginger, how did he get such thick, bushy, black eyebrows?
