I do not have a wallet, I am poor. but have just enough to live on comfortably.

But I do have scruples, ethics, and most importantly I do not have a posh wife.
 
There is a good 4 partner on Netflix about FIFA. If you can survive the smirking and duping delight of Blatter in the first 2 parts, then number 3 covers Qatar.

The corruption was always in another league long before this utter nonsense we have ended up with. The beautiful game stolen from the people whilst we just shrug and except it.
 
Maybe we need to look closer at our own game first? Can’t go to roots hall without hearing casual racism and homophobic comments every game. Same at every ground in the country.

Assume we should also boycott the Pakistan cricket tour next month for having just as bad issues ?

Guessing everyone boycotting World Cup will also be walking everywhere from now on? As wouldnt want to use any products from Arab countries.

I sit in the West and must say I can’t recall hearing racist or homophonic comments in a long time.

Every game? I think you’re exaggerating the point to justify your comment.

A few homophobic idiots in the stands is a bit different to it literally being illegal to be gay. That's only one of many issues though. Qatar isn't equipped whatsoever to host a world cup, I don't like Morocco's politics on LGBT rights but at least since their country isn't smaller than Yorkshire, so they'd have been in a much better place to host.

Yes, I agree there is exaggeration in the point BUT also the truth that racism, homophobia and misogyny are not far from being overt.
 
Assume we will all boycott USA in 2026 as we don’t agree with their abortion or gun laws?

English media never got over the fact we wasn’t award the World Cup, maybe we should of just upped our bribing game.

And thank f**k we didn’t get it, the scenes at last years euros where so embarrassing for us as a nation. We are the ones that couldnt successfully host a final.

I don't think our poor penalty taking should stop as having World Cup.

By the way I love US gun laws. I would open carry in the East Stand if I could......That little s*** from Woking wouldn't be so brave.

I don't want the WC to come to England, we only just had the Euros (sort of) if bribery wasn't a major factor I think Australia would have been the ideal location for this one, they've never had it before and it's long overdue imo. As I said in a previous post whilst I disagree with Morocco's laws I'd at least understand from a footballing perspective why they would be a good candidate to host it.

The laws of Qatar are only a minor part of the anger, the major thing driving it is the blatant corruption of FIFA (more so than usual, Blatter supposedly didn't want Qatar because there was no way they could dress it up as anything other than bribery) and lies (being able to host in the summer, having the capacity for 12 stadiums, promising some fans their food and drink expenses would be covered and then telling them yesterday they changed their mind). It's the accumulation of years of corruption in FIFA and this is the straw that broke the camel's back.

And all the FA's around the World who bought into it, ours included.

I'd like to know what's going to happen to all these nice new staduims when it's all over. Left to rot I'm guessing.
