I think the paying for a billboard idea is great by the way, as long as some advice is taken beforehand to ensure no laws are broken. Maybe highlight some of Ron’s quotes in recent times… ‘I effin’ love the club‘ ’won’t let the club be wound up’ etc etc, to put pressure on him to live up to his obviously false promises. I’d be happy to make a contribution towards costs.

No, And if Ron’s true to his word about having no money to continue to fund the club, he couldn’t afford the legal costs to sue @CRATE anyway. He couldn’t be lying about having no money surely!

In addition, the exact wording he gave to the judge recently could be used… I’m paraphrasing, but he gave us the idea that the ‘Aussie chap‘ was close to completing a sale, he just needs to release funds. Then on Talksport he says that a sales not close… Let’s call him out on his bull**** statements, isn’t it illegal to lie in a court of law?

My idea of the best sort of protest is lobbying Southend City council, and also Rochford, and Castle point councils to make sure that no planning permission, or development requests/ section 106 agreements wtc are passed with ANY of Ron's or any of his associated/ families companies - thus rendering any granted planning permission or earlier agreements null and void.

The only way to deal with narcissistic behaviour is to be as passive agressive as the other party and then have the patience and tenacity to wait.

First up I’m going to acknowledge that mass protest needs the buy in of the masses and it’s clear from social media chats with people the last couple of days that there isn’t an appetite for the sort of extreme disruption that I’d like to see.

But I’ll share a few ideas I’ve had all the same:

Break into Roots Hall night before the next home game and burn ‘Martin Out’ into the pitch with weed killer or something similar (whatever kills grass basically).

Get someone in the South Upper to pour red paint (to symbolise the blood of the club he’s killing) all over the goal and goalmouth up that end.

Barricade the car park and players entrance to seriously delay kick off, maybe even force an abandonment.
