I think we're going into Administration...

Hi, I realise that now, I'm sure we all know that if we survive the week without losing 10 points we're lucky colly wobblies. Funny how Acrrington got so much press whereas the blues hid from the ****that's bound to get hurled!

That list was from last week, all those companies were up for being wound up in one day!

How many of those were actually wound up? Darlington RFC look as if nothing has happened http://www.darlingtonrfc.co.uk/ and Hinckley United's hearing was adjourned http://z11.invisionfree.com/hinckley_independent/index.php?showtopic=1020

Can't be bothered to look at any others on that list. Although Mobile Stadiums sounds like a strange company I might check them out. Quite a big company by the looks of it - http://www.mobilestadiums.com/

Exactly class, it's most likely to be SEL doing the work seeing as they'll own the ground.

I guess that no stadium = more shops and a bigger hotel, and less traffic concerns

No it wont because the extra developments were on the condition that the stadium was built first, so, no stadium = no development

Can somebody please tell me what the scenarios are on weds?

Can we ask for more time to pay up?

Can we be placed into administration?

Can we be wound up?

I'm confused and cant find a definitive answer anywhere.

Can we ask for more time to pay up? Before Wednesday, yes. I think we'd struggle at the court unless there's a technicality.

Can we be placed into administration? Can we be wound up? Have grouped these two together. We'd be issued a Winding Up Order, which will result in liquidators being appointed to sell the assets and pay off creditors. It might be that we undertake voluntary administration before Wednesday, in which case it might be under a "pre-pack" arrangement where RM buys the company and assets through a different company.

I'm confused and cant find a definitive answer anywhere.

hope that helps

p.s. I don't know how the above scenarios differ in relation to the share of the football league that is required to maintain your place - ultimately I guess that is what we are all really worried about, not the taxman losing a few quid or who is in charge...

Cheers fella. So other than us actually having the wedge in full. The best case scenario is RM seeking further adjournement before weds?

Worst case, we fold, someone buys us for jack ****, debts get all but wiped and we get re-elected with a points deduction?

If something gets sorted before Weds, it'd be better than an adjournment, as it will be a formal arrangement, so the case will be closed.

If we fold, worst case is that the league decide to make an example of us and not allow the share to be transferred to another club :( But the option you put there is more likely I'd have thought, with RM being someone

Thanks very much for your contribution, it has helped clarify the list of nightmare scenarios. The folding option obviously is the one where we sail closest to the wind and would have to rely on a positive reaction from the League. Is there a chance that we would be in touch with the League, making them aware of what we are going to do, and receiving assurances that they would be supportive?
In the end, for all the bad things said about Ron, by some people on here, I just can't believe that he would just allow the club to disappear.
How would he continue to live in the area?..........................By the way
...............................no one has happened to notice any removal vans outside his house???

No Yogi, there's a few houses up for sale down his road and I have been asked if any of them are his, but as far as I know - and the husband of one of my colleagues is a local estate agent so would be likely to know - he hasn't put his house up for sale.

Should we accept that as a bit of good news.........unless he just disappears from the country rather rapidly! If he did let us go to the wall............you've got his name and address. I don't know what your capable of in this eventuality. Just think of never seeing another match involving the Blues ................or better still, imagine never seeing macca again in a Southend shirt..........I don't think he would sleep easily at night!

Can anyone confirm if Ron or GK have been at the last 2 games ??

A mate of mine sits in the East Greens and says they've been absent but my pals eyesight is seriously flawed so unsure whether to believe him or not

I had a dream last night we went bust, it was horrible!

You just reminded me, I had a dream last night Freddy Eastwood had died suddenly of a heart attack!!!:O

Whether that has some kind of deep psychological association with Wednesday or not I don't know!!! :'(
