what an absolute joke regarding the blue voice section, now going to have to get loads of tickets changed into there for my mates who won't be able to get to the ticket office. Really has annoyed me.

So the ticket office lied to me regarding the blue voice section, I don't live in Southend and don't have the time to travel before Friday to swap my tickets, couldn't this have been announced before the Chesterfield game so I could have swapped then?

This will always be an issue in games that are sold out ( or almost ).
My son goes in TBV section every game , but he just buys a ticket in the west without being concerned where it is and then moves over.
The club obviously want to sell as many seats as possible , so it was always going to be difficult for a game like this unless they made it very clear at the start - which is what they should consider in the future.

cheer up everyone, all fans had the chance to get tickets a lot earlier than some have done, im no longer a season ticket holder but got my seat where I wanted, should of made the effort a lot sooner as we all know what the ticket office are like, cant believe certain people thought there would be loads of tickets still left at this stage, its a prem side for gods sake.

TBV being spread out a bit is really going to help the atmosphere! you can hear the drum everywhere in the West so i'm hoping it'll help to get everyone involved. Let's not forget that the first thing is to watch the football and support the team, not get as close to the Hull fans as possible to chant 'dirty Northern *******'!

So, basically, then at 14:45 this afternoon I was:-

a) lied to, with the person knowing, as I said that I was going to publicise what I was told to try and clear the confusion,

or,

b) told the truth as it stood and someone has then moved the goalposts, :omg:

or,

c) everyone else knew, they just hadn't told the poor staff in the ticket office.

Whatever, within two and a bit hours they've made me look a right flaming idiot :angry:

To all of you who saw my earlier post and like me believed it, my apologies. I'll never believe another damned thing I'm told. And, to think I defend this club..... :dim:

Sometimes we're our own worst enemies; and now, having got one lot of tickets we've got to try and brave the system again to swap them....:dizzy:

You have to laugh or you'd cry.....

Clearly the sell out is not good news..
Without requirement for seats to be reallocated then the spaces for TBV would have been left vacant and the spaces from wence they came left unfilled
So maybe let's say 400 fans you want to see the game & can't (despite nice seats free) and the club doesn't get £8k of receipts
- cue alternative outrage

Suspect the club were waiting until they knew if all seats were needed- in hindsight they should have disappointed TBV earlier

The good news is the problem should disappear in the new stadium ( at least until we are in the premiership )

Looks like we have sold now 9100 home tickets with 200 restricted view left
So even they may go so let's say 9200 home titickets
With us spilling now into west corner that leaves max 2000 in remainder of North
Segregation will lose 400-500 and we alway expected Hull to take 1400-1500
So we are looking at 10500-10600 which with segregation is the capacity pretty much?

11400 is capacity with Roots Hall in its present form is the max with segregation as was the case against United and Chelsea. Shame with a bigger ground we would have sold 15k for this match.

Not sure why everyone considers our capacity is 11,400 when we had more against Yeovil. The only seats we have lost is the few exposed seats next to East black (there were only 100 seats max in this area). Our capacity is just over 12,000 as detailed on a number of stadium websites.

Are you referring to the game against Yeovil this season?

I'm sure with a packed Roots Hall there will be a cracking atmosphere whether TBV all sit together or not.

You may well be right especially when 99% per cent of the crowd are not "T.B.V." (and I suspect the large majority of the crowd wouldn't be able to say what the initials T, B and V stood for) .........

Perhaps some of us have bothered to look at our own OS. And perhaps some of us have gone on the online took and counted the seats.the answer us not 12000

100% DISAGREE
Hull tickets are being sold unallocated(see their website)
Why didn't we sell W block unallocated from the start. and state that was what we were doing. Simple solution , simple to organise, simple to implement. This also had the advantage if freeing up our tickets for others from the start.

TBV all being split up might actually kill the atmosphere, anyone remember this at Wembley?

Jnr

I don't think TBV spread out over several tiers and numerous blocks at Wembley in any way compares with them being spread over a couple of blocks at Roots Hall! I'm sure the atmosphere will be great no matter what.

I take it maths is not your strong point.

If we had 11,750 against Yeovil a few years ago - 100 seats lost still leaves us with a capacity of more than 11,400.

I also recall that there was a small amount of segregation at Yeovil so stand by my comments that our capacity is closer to 12,000.
