Don't forget to factor into your ticket costs the fact that the booking line is something like 9p a minute. So if you've been on the phone for over an hour, you're racking up something like £5 on your phone bill...

Isn't that work phones are for?

Yep - 71 minutes in total at 15p connection charge and 5.1p per minute plus VAT - about £4.50 of which the club gets about £1.80. Not bad business if you can get away with it.

Agree with this,South lower not the best of views and never really seems that full.We could maybe look into lowering admission prices there for all games and try and get more people in there.Got my Hull tickets this morning and.Only took 10 minutes on the phone.I think £15 admission for a adult season ticket holder is very good value for money.

It is already a lower price in the South Lower for league matches, its just that no one seems to know. Have a look at the online ticket page and South Lower Adult Tickets in advance are £15. The South Lower is still classed as part of the family stand and the ticket price states Family Adult South Lower but you can still buy single Adult tickets.

Good price for the Hull tickets, I would think we have about 9,200 home tickets available, allowing for Hull's allocation and segregation. Would be good to nearly sell all these if possible.

I did not know that, thanks for the info. The club should make this price better known and maybe keep it £15 on the day admission for the South lower.Worth a try to see if it gets a few more people in the ground.

Went down there in person to get our tickets early this afternoon. They'd drafted Tom and Ryan, the media guys, in to help as it was so busy on the phones so they were having a crash course in ticket sales - and doing very well, I might add!

I got good seats in the West for myself and two sons for the Millwall game only to find that when we got there a woman and two individuals with shall we say learning difficulties sitting in our seats. Their tickets were for the Hartlepool game but she said that the ticket office and a steward had told her to sit there as she wanted the isle seats. I tried to reason with her saying they were clearly my seats but she woudn't buge. After calling a steward he asked if I minded very much finding somewhere else. I told him only if he didn't mind us standing up at the back unharreasted by stewards telling us to sit down in our seats. He agreed and off to the back we went and I think everyone was happy. But how on earth can the ticket office sell seats only to instruct people with completely unrelated tickets to use them for another game, beats me.

I sit right by where you were supposed to sit, silly they let them sit there when they were at the wrong game. They went off at half time and did not return to the seats for the second half.

Hull with bring 1400 or so they rereckon not televised so dependent on how it catches on and given fourth round verses premiership it's going to be somewhere between 8-10k- certainly enough so that I wouldn't want the seats you would get on the day
Got mine today

Hull tickets are selling fast, considering they have only been on the market since yesterday. Wanted 4 East Stand tickets, could not get 4 together in Greens, or Reds had to get the few remaining in East Yellows. Ticket Office very busy, should be a good gate.

Been on the phone for over an hour, at position 1 for 20 mins. Finally get through to be told their computers aren't working And they'll call back.... This is after getting to 1st in the queue 3 times and the connection going. Still at least the club are making a fair bit of money from me. Just want some dagenham tickets!

edit: they called back and managed to sort out the tickets without further complications.

It took me 1 hour and 10 mins yesterday, i also was number 1 in the queue for about half hour, i phoned main office from work phone to make sure they hadn't gone home! They were helpful and apologised and offered to call me back but after waiting that long i wasn't giving up on position 1.
I wish they played music instead of all the cr*p they have on a loop, after 2 or 3 listens it gets very monotonous.

8 mins from 10th to 1st, then 20 mins . The guy(who was very efficient) said that there was something wrong with the phones as many people had reported the same thing.
