How you feeling ?

So what your saying for you it is about what level Southend are at as a precondition whether you go support / get a season ticket?

I know it’s not as black and white as that and I’m sure you don’t mean it like that.
No no! I would still get a ST even if we were in the Isthmian League. It's a way of life being a Shrimper but I would rather we were playing Bristol Rovers than Boreham Wood.

Well, it’s took me two weeks to get over the Wembley, first 4 days after we lost at Wembley, I keep getting flashback the moment Walker didn’t take his chance, with Corker was free on the left for him to pass so Corker can tap it into the empty net at 2-1 up, then 30 seconds later, it’s 2-2!.

I’m still not over Wembley. I haven’t watched anything the club have put out about it. Not watched highlights, the behind the scenes stuff etc.

Not sure when I’ll be over it to be honest. Worst I have ever felt at a football match. The day itself was class, but I was almost in tears at full time.

So proud of the club, but felt like a proper gut punch. Dancing around after Leon’s goal was one of the best I’ve felt at football. I thought we’d secured our promotion then. I also did a give away for some signed boots from him, so have spoken quite a bit to him, and I know how much that meant to him.

Ultimately, there isn’t much difference between the “names” of clubs in league two and National League. It’s not like we’ve missed out on playing so massive clubs. I’m not too bothered about the level we play at, obviously the higher the better, but the National League hasn’t been as bad as I expected when we dropped down.
