Is it the one that Ron has filed planning permission to build on Fossetts Farm & Roots Hall WITHOUT a stadium for Blues?

If so, it’s been doing the rounds but has absolutely no credibility to it & has not come from anyone ITK. Yet.
Surely even those who actually somehow believe what they’re told on social media wouldn’t fall for that one…surely…

Sorry, I thought I was doing the right thing but you're all 100% right, I didn't know if it had already been mentioned etc, I've not been on here properly for a couple of days.

So without saying where it has come from, I've heard a rumour

Repeat it's a rumour but it's come from a source that makes me believe it's either true or close to true.

Ron Martin is going declare bankruptcy.

And the club will owe a lot of money to creditors.

Again, only what I've heard.

You do realise only individuals can declare themselves bankrupt? So there is no way the club can be declared bankrupt? Is this coming from the same lot who are spreading the rumour that first team players are on strike?

If it is true will certainly have an effect on the club won’t it. Think if you are bankrupt your can’t be a company director and I wonder what the league rules are around owners being personally bankrupt. Not good I imagine.

Must be mental for Martin no matter what you think of him. Verge of bankruptcy, but with a possible 300-400m project payout in the very near future. Weird situation.

Please don’t lend credence to this nonsense. It’s clear in the rumour they are talking about the club as it’s says “And the club will owe a lot of money to creditors”.

Further all of his companies are limited companies. I very much doubt RM will be personally bankrupt whatever happens.

Bankruptcy is a last resort and not something to take lightly. I don’t think Ron is anywhere near that stage.

Furthermore, let’s say he has come to this conclusion, why would he tell people? How would this information get out? You wouldn’t broadcast this move to anyone.

How many bridging loans have there been over the years and how many are still not discharged?
Part of the reason healthy gate receipts don’t go where they should is probably as they finance the repayments on previous loans. Ron would need to pay these first as failing them would result in a claim on whatever they are secured against.

i highly doubt it but you never know. The club is his so they won’t be getting the money back. Unless he sells

Exactly. I think he’s blinded by the end prize and is happy to put us everybody associated with doing ff and rh and frankly himself through anything to get it

If I remember correctly in the past Ron has sold pockets of land he has owned around the country to help solve some of our cash flow issues. Is there any knowledge of any remaining land ownership he has (other than FF & RH)?

Yeah I don’t doubt that he will somehow pull it off. He’s done it up till now. It does seem actually that some who would profit from rons failure cant seem to hide their schemes and thinking how they will become very rich from this.

It’s crass and tacky.

I say that as somebody who really, really, really dislikes rm.

You can look it up on companies house website. 51 out of 53 charges over the years have been satisfied. Not sure any were bridging loans though. The money is owed to Ron’s SEL but the idea money is flow OUT of the club to SEL is nonsense. Funds are coming in - some get excited about whether it that money is itself borrowed

Not a chance. The guys too delusional to admit defeat. I know he's still telling people they have nothing to worry about regarding the club and its just a slight problem cause by the naughty HMRC.
