To be that confident, could the loan be coming from the MD at PG Site services?

Interesting comments about the MDs passion for the club. Anyone know who they are?

I doubt it. The £5m loan was mentioned to be from Topland Jupiter in our last court hearing.

Correct. Although technically we only need £1.4m to clear the tax bill (only £1.4m 🙄)

Maybe PG Site services are considering moving into the lending business. There have been claims made that they’ve lent the club money previously.

Pure speculation (and wishful thinking) on my part, but who knows. Maybe @Pale Blue Dot is on to something. It would seem a rare occurrence for a sponsor to get involved in this situation, right?

I just hope everything gets sorted March 1 and this is the last time people go unpaid.
Backdrop staff is one thing but if players go unpaid they will walk or themselves go on strike

How much worse does it need to get for protests on a much bigger scale?

We’re ****ed and it’s barely made the national media.

You’ve got to wonder just how worse it could get between now and March 1st. I’d imagine that if we reach 18th Feb (Gateshead at home - potentially our last ever home game) and we’re still being kept in the dark, forget protests, I can imagine all-out riots.

I'll be honest the way it's going at the moment, this weekend we might be facing a cancelled game and protests outside RH.

Yeah it's probably all bollocks but they have a lot to say for a shirt sponsor.

Does anyone have any info on the MD?

The word passion is an interesting one. Southend Fan?

I can see Saturdays game being cancelled as staff quite rightly might not show up.

We’ve been in danger of that several times this season already. Can’t keep playing Russian Roulette - or in this case, Ronald Roulette - and expect to keep coming up trumps.

Interesting as I assumed Tom brought them in from his association with them while at Gillingham. Seem to be based towards Gillingham way?
Perhaps this links in to Stan's comments a while back that Tom's input will one day be appreciated or something along those lines?

I know for a fact so far they've been paying stewards as a priority to keep games on (or at least the ones I talk to on matchdays)

However if the money is this short we might not even have a choice on whether they're paid or not.

Yep, very real possibility. The rumours surrounding St. John’s are equally as concerning. I’d have thought that without them (or a suitable substitute), the health and safety aspect would be compromised?

I believe the game will be P-P if there is no medical staff on site, same goes for stewarding too as I've just mentioned above. Basic H&S that is
