Absolutely - it will be linked to the value of the land, which will have increased with the implementation of the planning consent - now that has happened (with the completion of the training pitches), the consent is now in place and therefore there is no expiry date on the planning as it is now extant.
The training pitches arent part of the stadium planning permission. They're not even in Southend.

Just out of the blue, when does the loan to the Trust need to be repaid? Was it two or three months?
No idea, but I guess it will be repaid when it is repaid, so it's almost irrelevant.

What would the remedy be for late payment? For the trust to take legal action against the club for recovery, which isn't going to happen.

Although it seems the adjournment seems the be the popular issue, I find it encouraging that cleared in full is in second place with decent %. Settles the nerves a little!
Fingers crossed for option 1 and we can mount a promotion push through the playoffs without having to worry we can't sign anyone if we lose players through departure or injury.
What value would be put on promotion? Can't imagine £££££ but maybe ££
Option 2, although far from the worst outcome, it will unsettle the coaching staff and players, and no doubt will incur additional costs and fines ultimately

Latest shrimpers trust video confirms the chairman spoke with Ron last week and Ron said ‘ I’m pushing for an adjournment’ .. so he isn’t even confident of that. administration is looking increasingly likely more and more this goes on..

Administration is a good outcome compared to what it could be!

If Ron does not get his adjournment a winding up order is likely to be made which than prevents Administration. Although the court may allow a short adjournment to enable an Administration to be put in place if they are convinced this is a viable option.

For an Administration to be viable the club will need funding whilst in Administration. As the club runs on a loss each month someone will need finding to fund those losses whilst the Administrator seeks a buyer.

Apart from an immediate points deduction, it would still be necessary to come out of Administration with an arrangement to pay all football creditors within 12 months and non football creditors within 3 years. If this is not the case a two division relegation is likely.

It’s a bad things, cos we lose 12 points, it’s will destroy team spirit and potentially NL will boot us out of the league at end of the season and we be placed in Ryman League.
Administraton is good for what reason .We as a club would be in real dodos .And ron would lose evrything .Ron i dont care about but the club i have supprted for 60 years does .

So embargo carries on? 😩
Should it be further adjourned tomorrow, rather than settled as Ron said it would. Then yes, the embargo will remain until such a time the outstanding amount is settled with HMRC and the court is satisfied and formally dismisses the case. Oh and of course the NL need to be happy as well.

Knock on effect obviously being no further incomings permitted and no contract extensions of current players with deals coming to an end this summer. Of which I have no doubt will further **** the football department and management off further...

Some of you really need to give your heads a wobble. We will not be wound up. HMRC will never wind up a company owing so much money to them when it is blatantly obvious they will end up getting this in the near future. Seriously you are all doom mongers. HMRC will happily extend for 56 days in the knowledge they will be getting this money. They are not in the business of closing companies down for the fun of it they are there to get every penny they possibly can by whatever means necessary. If they wind us up they get nothing. If they extend the case by another 56 days they will more than likely get their money or they will extend again based on the evidence. You have all been told that there will be a large amount of money released in the coming months and you can all see the progress with the training ground it is just a shame we have to wait a few months to start using these pitches as that is what is stopping the build beginning and funds becoming available. This is also stopping us becoming more self sufficient and therefore allowing us to pay wages on time etc.

Whilst I agree with you in that we're not likely to be wound up - we have, on more than one occasion, been told that a bridging loan is being put in place in order to pay off HMRC and fund the club until the further funding is released. I think I'll be very disappointed with a further adjournment.

Sadly there are some on hear as well as fans not on hear cant see the fact that we all dispise Ron and his antics . But as said what would the HMRC gain for placeing the club in to administration .Small amounts rather than the whole amount .So another 86 days would be good all round .

Thanks for the update Ron.
