Hands up

Well if you didnt go on the pitch how can he throw you out for nothing?

Got accused of using the F word while shouting, so a woman with a family told me to 'shut up' to which I replied 'I am sorry I swore but there is a family section over there where you children mite be better suited' so then the woman (bit of treacle I mite add) good down to steward and moans off next thing I know its Return of the Jedi and storm troopers everywhere despite people around me who I don't even know defending me!!!!

Takes the ****ing ****. If you dont like swearing send them over to the family stand. Annoying *******s.

Was you the bloke having a discussion with the steward behind the east stand after the game, declaring your innocence, must admit, they should stay in the family, i take my kids and expect swearing, its my choice, if i didnt want them to hear swearing i would go in family end.

I've never been officially told off for swearing, but I've had a few dirty looks from people around me when I've sworn. To be quite honest, I agree with the old adage that swearing is part of football. When I was younger, my parents never tried to hide me from offensive language, they simply told me what would happen if I was caught using said language. Needless to say, I didn't let them catch me....

When I take up residence in the South Upper in October/November, I reckon it'l take me all of about five minutes before the first expletive comes out. If you don't like it, Eff off and don't leave the family stand.

That woman obviously doesn't go to many football matches then if she reported you to a steward just for swearing. As I posted yesterday, I try not to swear but sometimes it just happens, especially when passions are running high as they are when following the mighty Blues. If she doesn't like it, she could at least have asked TB to tone the language down or alternatively f*ck off to the family stand where people can and should (legitimately) be turfed out for swearing. Perhaps she'd be better off watching lawn bowls? :p

There should be a stand specifically for people who want to swear. "The Muddy Fox **** You You ****ing Prick" Stand has a real ring to it.

Was it a sell out last night? Obviously not, so why did she not just move away? Yes, if she felt inclined she might have given you a good glare on the way and perhaps even voiced her disapproval, but I'm sure there was enough choice in the seat department to be able to move without any difficulty. Did the stewards offer to escort her and family round to the family stand?

Complete disgrace.

I dont think one stand could hold us all to be honest. As has been said above swearing is part and parcel of football and if you dont want your kids to experience it then go in the designated family areas.

To be honest, this might sound controversial but I feel that atmosphere is being lost from football grounds as the insistence on creating family clubs increases. Dont get me wrong, I'm all for people bringing their kids to the game coz otherwise how are we going to increase our support and make future fans. But it does seem like people like TrueBlue that are the very ones that try to generate the atmosphere in the first place are being driven out by over-the-top stewards scared that one person in a block of 1000 might be offended and lodge a complaint.
