If that is the case, it Seems very high-risk for Chisora, with very marginal reward.
As for Haye, I'm not sure. After his incredible & shocking win against De Mori, the WBA (We Belt Anyone) have given him a top 10 ranking, so I'd assume he'll face someone in their list. Maybe Ustinov. But that's a pure guess on my part
Both have dates booked at the o2 already for their next fights. Same as Brook having Wembley booked with the hope of an amazing bout against Khan.
Yeach I've already got tickets earmarked for April 9th. Hearn had chucked names like Takam, Stiverne & Jennings about, as potential opponents for April, but I can't see it being any of them, as they're far too big of a test. I fully expected Chisora, so now it's anyone's guess. It'll probably be Duhaupas. Or Tony Thompson. Or some fat Latvian cab driver, that no-ones ever heard of.
Sadly, Hearn could put on an event, where AJ headlined on his own in the ring & simply shadowboxed for 12 rounds. Sky would hype the **** out of it & the casuals would lap it up. That's the level we're at. I wish Hearn would stop trotting out name after name, and promising big fights, only to put him in with tomato cans.
I think with both their next fights very close to each other. Both Haye and AJ will fight bums/not great opponents and then fight each other in their next fight. Unless Chisora wins his fight against Pulev then Chisora will want AJ. I'm hoping to go to the fight on the 9th too. Just hope he gets a decent opponent to fight. I also have the 4th of June pencilled in hoping Brook fights Khan!
Also on the same day as Fury vs Klitschko II.
Would imagine Sky will pick it all up as a Double feature. Eddie will possibly even put on a small show in this country, to use as an undercard, like we've seen before.
Bloody hope so as I don't want to fork out for two box office fights.
Is just occurred to me, imagine IF Khan managed to get the win over Canelo, I'd have thought that would makes his next opponent Golovkin :stunned:
Golovkin would destroy Khan! But that won't happen because he is not getting past Alvarez.
See, I DO give Khan a chance against Canelo. The Mexican isn't blessed with the best footwork. At times it's like he's competing in concrete boots. He struggled at times against Cotto's movement & simply couldn't handle Floyd's. If Khan can move around quickly, and smoothly, he can win rounds. It's just a question of will his glass jaw hold out, if/when Canelo eventually backs him up & lands flush. I can't see that. But I do give him a chance.
This sort of reminds me of that bout back in 2008(?) when the great Oscar De La Hoya was pitted against the little Phillipino. Everyone wrote off Manny's chances, due to the size difference. I think Pac had jumped 2 weight classes for that fight. And look how that turned out. His speed & precision was the key.
Fury talking about maybe retiring and not having the rematch with Klitschko.
