Gary Hooper

Would be a good signing for Norwich.

End of last season couldnt see them surviving another year but have been making some decent signings and think they will be ok next season.

Surely a better prospect than QPR?

Indeed. If he can bang them in for Norwich, then the next move could be to one of the big(ger) boys and an England shout?

Great move for Hooper, chance to test himself at top level and if all goes well could force himself into England reckoning.

Not true. They've matched QPR and it looks like he'll sign. Hooper would be crazy not to join them and play in the Prem.

That's true now which proves my point. Norwichshrimper was implying that Hooper had chosen QPR over Norwich because of money when it was purely that Norwich hadn't had a bid accepted. As soon as they did he couldn't get to Norfolk quick enough (pity for him it's 24 hours after the Partridge premier...)

Norwich will still need to match what QPR had on the table regarding personal terms

#Scunthorpe United confirm #Southend United are entitled to a cut of the profit on Gary Hooper's sale as part of their original deal.

Passed the medical looks like Hooper will be playing in the premiership this season.
