Why would they value him at 7m when they turned more down in January?
I don't think Norwichs bid ever got to that money that's why they turned them down.

The talk at the time was 9 million, although looking into it that amount isnt confirmed anywhere, and even dismissed in a mail article as rubbish. Looks like the actual bid then was about 6 million, so Hull bidding 4.5m is never going to get accepted.
He now has 6 months less left on his contract though. They will have to lower their valuation if they want to get some money for him or just risk losing him next summer. It's the SPL ffs it's not like its hard for Celtic to score goals against anyone else. Samaras can score and so can Scott Vernon and Richie Foran. He won't be hard to replace.
He still has a year left, they have no reason to accept less than what they rejected in January.
Bizarre.
His value wouldnt have plummeted so far surely, and why did they not sell in January if open to lower offers now?
Hardly going to win the Champions League with or without him and the league was a foregone conclusion.
Embarrassing for Scottish football, that you'd leave a club like Celtic and the Champions League to sign for a Championship club. :stunned:
Falcao? Left Athletico, champions league football to play for Monaco who had only just been promoted to Ligue 1. Money talks!
Clearly, with his name, he just wants to play for teams that play in hoops!
I'd be pretty confident that QPR will get promoted next season, and could well swap leagues with Hull. They've cleared some of the overpaid dead wood from last season and starting to make some good signings (Danny Simpson, Richard Dunne). It seems like players want to play for Redknapp.

Personally think Norwich would be the best move for him, would love to see him and van Wolfswinkel up front together, they've made some great signings this summer and are really interested in him and have been since January, expecting them to be midtable at least this year, better than relegation fight with Hull or Championship with QPR.
