Further light on the Bailey McCormack saga

Ok so we let in yet another soft goal in a game which will end our automatic promotion hopes; and from my seat it looked like Bailey lost his man in what was his poorest performance I have seen from him. McCormack having the mouth he did he told him what he thought.

Bailey wasn't happy responding with his head.

As much as I love him as a player, it just wasn't on- I could see how the lack of unity effected the team. There were times it appeared either was reluctant to pass to the other. And considering both are CM's that's bad news!

Anyway this is all known.

After the game a Tranmere fan I have been chatting to on MSN said he saw the Southend players getting on the coach-

arguing.

No doubt that it was about the conceded goal.

And whilst I believe you need a post mortem; it should be carried out in a controlled enviroment by the manager the next day after everyone has cooled down. Using taboo language at another member of the team whilst in view of fans is just not right.

I for one think the club need to make a statement, and look into discplining the concerned players.

For a team which relies so much on a togetherness at the club and a strong team spirit; this is a concern.

UTB!

Anyone able to work out if Tilly and Brush were communicating during the game? Just wondered if Tilly had been on the touchline if one or other might have been oiked off.

It would have been a good move to get Bailey off IMO.

When he plays so well he is vital for us, the last thing we needed was spreading a negative feeling on the pitch as well as possibly seeing red and getting sent off!

Well Class said Macca and Bailey were out together last night laughing and joking so i dont think there is too much of a problem after they sorted their differences out!

Things get heated on the field, especially in the climax to the season when every point is vital. The incident was nothing more than bit of handbags and the lads know this, no doubt they've sorted it out and are Bezzie mates again.

Well at least it wasn't on the goals roundup on tv today. Just showed the goal and if you blinked you would have missed it. Must say the guy who got the goal looked about 7 foot so why Bailey was ment to be marking him heaven knows.

As it turns out results conspired against us so all in all, no damage done.

look at baileys hands..

Lol...he looks like Grant Mitchell's less follically challenged brother in this photo. I for one hope they have just kissed and made up (not literally you understand), as for me, our CM's probably hold the key to us performing and not performing in the coming play-off games.

I think thats great! I can't understand why people are getting all upset about it. At least they have passion and want to win... if they were happy about conceding a soft goal I'm sure the same people will be moaning... unprofessional yes, but at least theres passion in the team to succeed.
