I've seen plenty of stuff about Paul Hart going there, especially after Coppell ruled himself out. First I've heard about Freedman going there though, but would make sense. He is a Palace legend.

It wouldn't surprise me if he went, but Tilson has made a big thing of having some experience up top, and talked about his desire to bring in another experienced forward, but he has Freedman sitting on the bench. You won't get much more experience than that to be fair.

I think that's probably the one move that Tilson couldn't refuse Freedman... He's a legend at Palace and opportunities like that don't come along every day. Personally, I'd like Freedman here in a coaching capacity to work with Spencer but I think his legs have completely gone and I'd understand if we wanted him off the wage bill.

Sorry to lose Dougie from the club - his influence behind the scenes is spoken of very highly. Realistically though he is a luxury that we can't afford.
