Why? If what I have been told is true, the sell on clause is based on transfer fee, not transfer profit.

While I also hate McCarthy, doesn't Freddy's attitude even when he was with us suggest that there may be more to this than meets the eye? I can't imagine that Freddy is the easiest player to handle and it seemed clear to me that he had a bit of an attitude when things weren't going his or our way last year. So yes, it is a waste, but something tells me that Freddy himself is not totally blameless in all of this.

I totally agree with this. When he was here he was our hero and i think he moved on thinking this was going to continue at wolves, but once he stepped up the notch soon realised that it would not be easy, he made a terrific start but his attitude did him no favours. McCarthy is not one to mess with, love him or hate him I think he has tried to teach freddy a lesson, which unfortunately has not worked for him. Time to move on and find a club that will appreciate him.

Freddy has the ability and the attitude -

MM has enough **** lickers and triers and to55ers at Wolves to do his bidding but he can't get it together cos he is ****e -

look forward to revisiting this conversation when Freddy is playing for a decent club -

NOTHING wrong with his attitude at all - he just likes scoring goals and contributed a lot towards making SUFC the club it is today -

Therefore the only years he scored 20+ goals were the 2 promotion years.

I heard a rumour that he hit McCarthy (allegedly!!!!) so you can maybe see why he doesnt want him around....

His attitude has caused his career to go dowhill - he is the only one to blame!!

If he had carried on playing for us the last 4 months he was here - we may not have gone down - but instead he sulked cos no big move had come about!! Is that a professional attitude????

And No - dont bring him back here - those last four months showed how he plays when he doesnt want to be somewhere and just wants his wages!!!!
