Freddy until end of season - just a rumour so far

(b) what does Freddy's return say to the rest of the squad - "you lot are useless without me..."? Maybe that's true - but maybe it isn't...and maybe that's not exactly a morale-boosting message to send to them in any event?

Gotta say that if this is really happening, I'd say that Ron Martin is behind it all. After Tilly and Brushy's summer comments about how he got lazy towards the end of last season and didn't want to be here, I'd say that they themselves would be skeptical about having him back (saying that thogh, they are known to have been running out of ideas). Only someone who is naive when it comes to football and dressing rooms and desperately wants the fans' approval could be the force behind us signing Eastwood on loan - RM.

God I'm turning into a doom and gloom merchant - I've been posting on this forum for far too long :eek: :minger:
 
IF Freddy was to return, then it wouldn't be a case of him not wanting to be here- no one's holding a gun to his head. Surely it would be because he would want to regain his form on loan, and this is the perfect club to do so.

Exactly what I was thinking. The more you think about this rumour though, the more you think it must be just that, a rumour. There are just too many logical reasons why this loan move is not viable, for club and player.
 
This thread is a joke. No way is freddy on his way back. He is on 10-12k a week a wolves and has just brought a real house. No truth in it......

And I just thought everyone was coming on here to read about ShrimperZone FC 1 progressing to Round 2 of the Sceptre League Cup for the first time in their history following hot on the heels of gaining promotion last week!

Hereford Fans if they heard a rumour that Hooper might go to them would if being saying , no way ,as he has started for Southend in their last 3 games and scored , why would they let him go ....so although i am not 100% sure Freddy would come back i am 100% sure we'll be signing a forward today / tommorrow .
 
At the start of the month, longpier phoned Freddy's agent who knocked it back. However that was more than 20 days ago - so maybe things have changed. Article here

Good work TFS! SZFC have made it into the last 32! Certainly an impressive feat and also have their league cup semi final this Sunday, i believe?!
