You're hardly unbiased though. You claimed Freddy was crap when he was scoring 20 a season for us.
 
Well I'd guess that fans of the Welsh national side would disagree with you. As would many Wolves fans and most Southend fans.
 
He now has two seasons on the books of Championship Clubs and barring one great goal very little to show for it and hardly a host of clubs gagging to sign him.

i wouldn't call scoring 16 goals and making a lot of others in a team that wasn't good enough for the Championship 'very little to show for it'. It's true that he took the gloss off of that by sulking towards the end of the season, but he still contributed a lot by pretty much everyone's standards except yours.

Collymore scoring goals in vital relegation dogfight matches in a team that arguably weren't Championship material. THAT'S quality.
 
If you're only going to judge a player on whether or not he is as good as Stan Collymore then we might as well all pack up and go home now. Stan was one of the best footballers in this country in the past 25 years.
