Welcome Frank, reckon you'll do fine. Ignore the negative doubters, they have been choking on their own scepticism of late and still can't cope with us being a damn fine team at the mo.

Honestly I think this is up there with one of the worst signings we have made in recent years. He is pony, he wasn't good enough for a mid table Gills team!

We take £1.1m in transfer and yet we are still paying for this pony. Prove me wrong, but the stats don't lie... 1/8 ratio? Do me a favour.

Brief history.

Age......25
clubs....13
League apps 163
League goals..19

He has had more clubs than Nick Faldo.

Lenny and mrsb don't rate him, guaranteed success then.

Let's make sure we give him a great welcome at RH on Saturday and show our appreciation that he's joined SUFC, and hope he repays our faith in him.

Can't say I'm overjoyed but reserve judgment. Looking at Gills forum, they seem happy that he left. It appears for a big man he played on the wing. They didn't see him as a striker.

Nouble is cover for Fortune. Similar playing style. If Cox is scoring goals and Fortune or Ranger can hold ball up then our midfielders have goals in them. Ipswich mate says Nouble does more than score goals so expect Brown thinking of current style. He doesn't have experience like the current front two so expect he is bench bait

Fairly positive about this one. Think some of the immediate criticism is a little harsh especially given the current striker situation - he's 6'3", pretty quick and on a short term deal.
Sounds a bit like the mobile target man we need in the absence of Nile Ranger to me. No one was thrilled about MAF's goal scoring record when we signed him. Give the guy a chance!

I'm happy to trust PB on this signing. Cox, Ferdinand, Fortune, Ranger (the footballer not the lost soul) not the worst signings PB has made so he is learning

Exactly how I feel.

PB knows what he is doing and now he has a better choice available than when we were in League 2, I think he has generally chosen well at this level.

I am he has 7.7 seconds of chance

Welcome Franck, I hope you go on to a long and successful career here.

Hoping this is a mini coup on PB's part. Good age, good build and experience at a higher level. Signed after a trial period, so PB must have an idea of how he fits into the team. Probably from the bench at first, but we are constructing a strong solid squad and long may it continue.

Don't know a huge amount about him, but Brown seems to be doing well getting the best out of players that others don't seem to want, for whatever reason, so happy to give him a chance and to welcome him to the club.

Cloughie had a knack of doing that, good asset in a manager.

Not saying PB is in the caliber of Clough, but you're right he has made some wise signings for nothing, who are starting to come good.

Playing them in position is a good start :winking:
