Saw a great war film yesterday Greyhound on apple TV.
Tom hanks is a captain of an American warship and in command of 3 other allied warships trying to protect a convoy of 37 allied ships in the Atlantic from a wolf pack of German U boats really good watch lots of action..
 
Silver screen this week was Ticket to Paradise with Julia Roberts and George Clooney. Set in Bali. Two divorced parents horrible daughter decides to marry someone from Bali. The worst film I've ever seen. Just no redeeming features whatsoever. Even manages to make Bali a must miss destination. As George Whitebread might have said, I've three words for this film. ****e , ****e and ****e. Even worse than Love Actually.

More Yank 'We won the War' bollocks no doubt. The vast majority of naval convoy cover were Royal Navy and Canadian Royal Navy, not the ****ing Yanks with their rewriting of history crap.

Your wrong... the film is correct the American Navy along with the Royal Navy and Canadian Navy did provide Warships to protected convoys crossing the Atlantic during WW2.
You should give it a watch its a really good film.
