Films you've watched recently.

GREATER 9/10 never watched an american footbal game and prob never will but for some reason i enjoy american football films and tv shows and add into the mix that this is a true story gives you a truly good film.Imho.

Rogue One. The geek in me loved the small touches like the binoculars and the same characters in ANH and yes I loved the music. Moff was done well and Vader was excellent. Onky small gripe was middle third was a bit long. Set design was superb as well.

Ok??? got all that and I also thought it was very good; BUT what is a middle third? or is it just the middle section of the film? I am guessing that would be the bit when the temple gets blown up?

The Accountant - 9/10 - Not a massive fan of Ben Affleck but this was an excellent film and he played the role so well. Great action film with a good storyline, if you haven't seen it I would highly recommend it.

Moana - South sea islanders get the Disney treatment. Jolly good fare, if a touch off the usual quality of excellence. 7/10

Good songs though.

The Red Shoes
Powell & Pressburger's classic take on the Hans Christian Anderson fairytale from 1948. Me and the missus are off to Sadler's Wells to see the new production later this week so we thought we'd better see the film first. Loved it, particularly the overall look (especially during the section where the company performs The Red Shoes) which is every bit as stunning as the other Archers films I've seen. 9/10.
