Films you've watched recently.

OUTLAWS AND ANGELS 2/10,very gritty western which could only have been saved if maggie smith had of turned up in a van,bit rude but no nipplays but one orgasm,no blacks.

Excited to see Rogue 1. The Force Awakens was such an anti-climax.

I thought Force Awakens was amazing at the cinema. Further viewings since its diminished a bit but still a great doorway back into the Star Wars story.

Also looking forward to Rogue 1 on Saturday at the Imax.

Blimey.Didn't think anyone could possibly like that steaming pile of horse- manure.

Thought it was a good film. Over dramatised some elements to make the story more interesting but otherwise a decent film. How you can say Lady in a Van (which I turned off half way through) is "excellent" and Sully is Terrible I have no idea. Just goes to show how opinions can be different.

It was just a New Hope, rehashed. I've watched it (sort of) again only once, doubt I'll bother again. Maybe I'm looking through the eyes of the six year old kid who was absolutely spell bound by Star Wars, I guess nothing will ever match that.

Yep they certainly mirrored the story and that was intentional but personally not sure why as it was detrimental to the film. But up until the point they revealed it was another death star attack I was really enjoying it and that was really the only but I didnt like.

All it had was an incident that took about a couple of minutes. That's a lot to fill up a 90 minute + film with.

Yes boss and of course as per you are right on the money as you are with everything.

WRONG TURN 3/10 slash em up horror, not for me.
WHITE GIRL 4/10 after staying to the end i can indeed confirm she was and indeed is a white girl, drugs, sex, blacks.
MECHANIC TWO cant remeber the name but it was jason stratem does jason strahem r poo cant spell his name,5/10

Just watched Kilo Two Bravo. Without doubt the most intensely powerful, moving, harrowing and emotional film I have ever watched. I'm not even going to rate it because that would be an injustice. It brought tears to my eyes and I cannot remember the last film that made me do that.

If you (like me) didn't know the story watch the film before you read the facts.

DADS ARMY 1/10 why oh why?
THE BROTHERS GRIMSBY 7/10 same ole same ole with many giggles and roots hall, had to leave the room at one stage as i couldnt breathe due to laughing so hard.

Rogue One 7/10

I liked it overall, the last third of the film saved it but I don't think deserves as high praise as it's received.
I did have a few issues with it....

  Spoiler:
CGI Peter Cushing was overused thus showing the flaws this technology still has. It started to distract me every time he was on screen. I think he's in this film more than he was in New Hope.
The score was pretty forgettable, I heard the guy was bought in last minute to write the score.
The characters were also pretty forgettable, except the droid, he was ace.
While some cameos were cool (The two guys from the cantina that Obi Wan kills), didnt feel the need to shoehorn in R2 and C3PO.
The first hour or so was pretty dull with far too much planet hopping.

The big saving grace was seeing very badass Vader in the last five minutes. Wiped away any memories of "Nooooooooo!!!!"
