Films you've watched recently.

Grimsby ---- I laughed throughout, Mrs Jarvis not so.

Football scenes filmed at Roots Hall , not sure where the elephant's vagina scenes were shot.

9/10

Went to see Dad's Army last week, we thoroughly enjoyed it, just a nice way to while away a few hours without having to tax your brain. Catherine Zeta-Jones vamping it up and some very good characterisations from a great cast. We were the youngest in there by some way, lol! 7/10

Brooklyn.Simply wonderful film which I hope gets (at least one) Oscar later tonight.

(If anyone wants to know why there were no blacks in the film (there were in the novel) we could have a "debate." :winking:)

Deadpool - A riot of mickey taking of super hero films, loads of violence and gore, loads of kit off scenes and best of all, bad taste humour. I loved it. 9/10

**** off. There are many, many, many franchises I would love to kill, violently, before their inception. This is at the top of that mountainous list

What you have to realise as you grow older chap, is that not everything is aimed at your age group. If it's for tweens, so be it and let them enjoy it and enjoy them enjoying it. Not everyone can watch mutant werewolves have an all out bloody war with zombie pirates.....

They are auditioning Sonic, this could be your new career opportunity. Far superior uniforms to B&Q and longer breaks. Go for it.
