Films you've watched recently.

I've only ever liked about 5 films in my entire life. The last film I watched was one of those, Goodbye Lenin 10/10

I only attend the cinema to take the kids, so the last film I saw there was The Simpsons Movie 1/10

Finally got round to watching This Is England last night.

Bloody good film and really quite sad and thought provoking.

Very well made I thought 8/10

Rise of the Footsoldier- quality!
3:10 to Yuma- very good
The Committments- love it, always worth watching
Wrong Turn 2- gory but formulaic plot.

Sweeney Todd, not impressed , very little spoken words just Edward Scissorhands singing a lot and slashing throats. Didn't mind the slashing but the singing was a bit much. They didn't make enough of the twist at the end.
4/10

i watched the green mile last night for the first time ever and i have to say its now in my top 5 (goodbye the never ending story)

I did as well....(for the first time)....great movie, is John Coffee (Character name as i cant be bothered to look it up on Google) really that big????

Think so Dave. Ex American Football player.

From IMDB

In actuality, Michael Clarke Duncan is of a similar height as his co-star David Morse and is a couple inches shorter than James Cromwell. Among other things, creative camera angles were used to create the illusion that Duncan as John Coffey towered over the prison staff, even Brutal Howell and Warden Moores.

I have to get my regular fix of Carlitos Way every now and again.....the role of 'Charlie' Brigante was made for Al Pachino
