FC - Week 6

Lost the toss and bowled. They were all out for 279, with 2 middle-order bats making the runs.

Currently 65-0 in reply, so going nicely.

Bout 50 odd for nowt in reply. Not going to look to win this at all ( even if poss ) and will just try and bat tomorrow out!

Kev

Recovered with a 4th wicket partnership of 190 to finish on 337 for 7 but the last 20 overs were at a crawl. Declaration was set at 380 but i will forego the last batting point and declare overnight. Can see nothing worse than a draw which, though not ideal, wouldn't be a disaster. Hope to have a first innings lead of around 100 and bat for 40 overs or so tomorrow then think about target for Thursday.

Oppo declared which was a result :) No declaration set, not that it will probably matter.

End of Over 26 (5 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 86-1, runrate=3.31
Trail by 315 runs. (Danish Batmen 401-5 dec)
Ormerod 4-0-19-0
Evelyn* 56 (75 balls)
Raziuddin 22 (53 balls)

Last Wicket: Hansen c. Jarvis b. Mould 6 (FOW: 19/1)

Mrs BB got caned, just a question of how many points she can rack up. I think defeat here will leave her no option but to bin FC for the season.

Mohammed 35-4-120-3
Monkhouse* 210 (215 balls)

Last Wicket: Mpilo Run Out 0 (FOW: 628/9)

With them at 3 for 3 with their dangerman gone it could be all over today

Set everyone to V Attacking to try to get it over quickly and we've scored 3 runs in 7 overs!

End of Over 38 (1 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 94-5, runrate=2.47
Trail by 273 runs. (highton 367-4 dec)

London* 1 (11 balls)
Curtis 16 (68 balls)

Last Wicket: Baird b. Pietersen 1 (FOW: 92/5)

we're 5-1 in reply to 382 all out, against one of the league's 3 quality teams. wicket doesn't suit me and i'm missing Thornley and Barnes, so playing for the draw.

Oh if someone could kick Singh lali off with £50k I'd appreciate it. Asset stripping ahead of bowler purchase.

Once primary pops are received on:

22yo - Bowling: respectable Consistency: respectable
17yo - Batting: competent Concentration: mediocre (resp stamina)
17yo - Bowling: respectable Consistency: mediocre

They will be sold and the cash gained, along with cash for Singh and McGhee will be added to my £4.7m to get my new bowler. Hoping to be able to afford a wonderful but will probably have to settle for remarkable.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 86 (8 runs). Napster's XI: 455-4, runrate=5.29
Lead by 391 runs. (lees lads 64-10)
Fillery 14-3-68-2
Allan* 29 (30 balls)
Heskey 5 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Back b. Fillery 35 (FOW: 445/4)
