FC - Week 6

BILLERICAY BLUE

Rose Tinted Brigade Member⭐⭐🦐
BATTY SHRIMPERS v Danish Batmen

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Evelyn and 10 others today :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sky Blues v DIBS DIPPERS

We can tell you that Sky Blues won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this sunny day.

Mohammed, Stride and Potter play for Mrs BB, but a bad toss to lose

Playing a semi strong team to try and weasel three days gates out of it. Only Cook plays of the bowlers though, impressively he's at sublime even after the GFI.

End of Over 5 (Maiden). highton : 9-0, runrate=1.80
Cook 3-1-2-0
Connelly* 8 (15 balls)

Mirfin 0 (10 balls)

Last Wicket: Evans c. Back b. Glasby 3 (FOW: 4/1)

Playing a side that I lost twice to last season by an innings and loads, fully expecting the same and at 11-3 it's looking that way already.

Couple of early wickets, but the RR is a tad on the high side

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Danish Batmen

Would be happy if they maintained this pace, would give me a good chance of batting through to Day 3. Doubt it will though with some of the crap bowling I've got to come!!

End of Over 17 (2 runs). highton : 49-0, runrate=2.88
Cook 9-4-8-0
Bucknell* 27 (55 balls)
Connelly 16 (48 balls)

Dropped Suthers to give Heskey some experience, dropped Neeky and Phillips to gain fitness. So, without one good batsman and my best bowler.

Moore 9-1-24-0

18.6 W Edwards to Hamshaw
Played all over that - silly boy! I hope he likes breakfast cereals, particularly the 'Cheerio' variety because that's the chant he's now getting from the crowd.
18.5 W Edwards to Stanton
Ball pitched in the rough, moves back and makes a mess of the batsman's stumps. He totally misjudged that delivery.

The players are off the field for lunch.
