Hopefully Gamage will be able to make his 50, would love to get a 300 lead, but it probably won't be enough, as it's sunny tomorrow, so need to make use of the partially cloudy and windy weather today.

38.6 6 Taggart to Gamage
That landed next to the gentleman having an afternoon snooze, and gave him quite a shock. Welcome back to the land of the living.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Gamage just got under that a bit too much, and it's an easy catch for Croos.

Mine has finished early to

Gambero C.C. won by an innings and 246 runs.

My knackered bowler Borrell managed 7 overs - 1st inns and 1 over 2nd inns but his tally was 4-3 which is not a bad return from 8 overs. The Whale had 9-43.

Each of their bowlers were knocked for over a 100 each.

hmm, my bowlers might be about to cost me a days' gate receipts, wasn't expecting them to be batting this early (or so badly)

End of Over 9 (1 runs). Oliver's XI: 15-4, runrate=1.67 (1st Inn: 249-10)

Stride* 319 (372 balls)
Owens 11 (32 balls)

Last Wicket: Shaw c. Kone b. Spiers 29 (FOW: 541/4)

Made a mess of this. We collapsed to 362 all out, and with my muppets bowling they trail by 16 runs with 9 wickets left. Bugger. Looks like a game we'd have won easily will be drawn unless my proper bowlers do something amazing tomorrow. Need 2-3 wickets tonight as they're likely to be around 125 ahead at close if not. Hope my captain brings back on my quality/strong and superb/feeble, the only bowling-ability players set to bowl today.

Looks like going to be cost a win by trying to get 3 days. Oh well, expect to come 2nd or 3rd anyway.

Last Wicket: Lentin lbw b. Gammon 11 (FOW: 340/6)

I don't understand this game sometimes. Playing on a Dusty track, my oppo has a spinner (BTR 69,281, wages 71,823) at Energetic, who has bowled 33 overs at my motely crew for 1 wicket, whereas he has some Proficient at best RFM has taken 2 for 40 odd. Very strange but I'm not complaining.

Just need to make sure I get my maximum batting points, then I'll be quite happy. Can't see me forcing a win unless I get his star bat out for next to nothing.

Edit - spoke too soon, star spinner has now taken another one and all of a sudden we're 8 down and not likely to get maximum batting points.

Mrs BB still piling up the runs

There's an appeal... Got him! The umpire raises the finger as Craddock points to the pavilion

Been let off the hook I think!

Last Wicket: Hettiarachchi b. Rennie 27 (FOW: 101/1)

I think they had a declaration set at 400 on their default orders, and never expected my batsmen to bowl so many today either.
