Well, 60 overs left and 9 wickets so it's 7 overs a partnership to survive. Going to need more than the combined 15 balls that Alvardo and Nadeeka managed to survive yesterday but it's still possible, they're all set to defensive.

Slight wobble for Mrs BB as she lost 3 quick wickets, but she's nearly there now. However, BBM are chipping away at QP, looks like that one's going down to the wire...

Mrs BB's won her game, but she's just missed out on a 4th consecutive FC promotion, as BBM have bowled out QP with 8 and a bit overs to spare.

Done.... Yeates takes 3 wickets in 6 balls and we're champions. Did not expect that at the start of the season, honestly thought we might struggle to stay up. COME ON PETTS! :Worthy:

And that's the end of the match. Pettefershire CCC won by 75 runs.

58.3 W Yeates to Tumisang
Tumisang goes for the tickle down the leg side and a faint edge is taken by the wicket keeper. Good footwork there by Odonague.
58.2 . Yeates to Tumisang
Well forward, guided to the off, wanted a run, sent back.
58.1 . Yeates to Tumisang
No run, big swing but no ding.

Thanks for relegating me B! :nope:

Cracked pitch wouldn't have helped :winking: Pleased for Angband though as he wanted to stay up for genuine reasons and got a raw deal last week, whereas I just wanted to limit damage after selling up 3 weeks ago.

Still no bite on Raipur, Rennie going for 4m at the moment. Get bidding chaps.

Yeah, though had I changed it to H&F or something it might have looked a bit dubious!! Going to make next season very tough with Halley Kinree and UGTF in there (UGTF's wage bill was over £2.5m last time I looked!!). Hoping if I can pick up a decent older all rounder I should be able to stay ahead of Gatley and Angband. Having 7 bowlers will give me a fitness advantage as well. Rennie would be ideal but is too early for me, hoping for an off season bargain.

Congrats to all the SZ promoted teams:

III to II - GBG (despite only 4 wins!)
V to IV - BATTY SHRIMPERS
VII to VI - Pettefershire CCC
IX to VIII - Marvels Marvels, Napster's XI
X to IX - Deep Backward Square Leg, Deleven and Toro Bulls

Should see some good ranking increases next season!

Looks a really tough Championship next season, glad I got to win it last season. Well done to all of the promoted sides.
