9 wicket win in the end. It's not mathematical but we are effectively promoted to II as next week we play the semi bot team.

Interesting run chase here. Gobern picks up two in one over to give us the edge. YB has the top team 9 down with a 95 run lead so hopefully he will win that. Big two hours for our FC season coming up.

End of Over 32 (1 runs). The Flying Ferrets: 116-4, runrate=3.63 (1st Inn: 361-3 dec)
Trail by 163 runs. (Southend 360-3 dec & 280-3 dec)

Last Wicket: Olowe c. Thay b. Gobern 19 (FOW: 116/4)

Gamble of run chase paid off as we get a massive win. YB's openers batting too slowly, need 78 from the last 14 but I will still be top, with a home game against the current leaders to go.

End of Over 55 (Maiden). The Flying Ferrets: 182-10, runrate=3.31 (1st Inn: 361-3 dec)
Trail by 97 runs. (Southend 360-3 dec & 280-3 dec)

Won by 7 wickets, leaving us in 4th place, 1 point above the drop zone.

Mrs BB lost by 9 wickets

Have managed to stay up in FC VIII, following a fine win over my nearest rivals. More impressive was that they beat me by an innings and 50 odd runs at the start of the season.

The Flying Scotsmen won by 9 wickets.

Rhema Warriors won the toss and elected to field.
