FC - Match 3

They won that session, but the wicket in the last over of it has kept them in check. Would take a 50 run deficit.

So a 360 declaration would have got you max batting and bowling points and a lot more rest.

My BT won't load, my company have been tightening their net security so I'm worried it might be blocked.

battrick Bit of a server update - no-one can get in touch with it at the moment. We are getting the chaps on site to take a look. More as we have it.

Still no specific news to give you I'm afraid apart from it is looking pretty serious and there may be an extended downtime. Stay tuned.

It seems as if the best way to increase our Twitter followers is to shut the site! :) Welcome to all the new guys and gals.

Oh and no more news for the moment. But thanks for the helpful "turn it off and on again" advice :)

Last Wicket: Futcher c. Gooding b. Knight 4 (FOW: 182/7)

I got dished up a nice collapse during the downtime. Rennie having to score runs with the tail again like yesterday. Last doing a great job to last (...) 50 balls so far. Will be setting attacking bowling orders tomorrow as this wont be a draw.

Won inside two days for the third game in a row. Took 30 overs more to bowl them out than the first innings but a pleasing win.

Game interestingly placed. I bowled them out for 393 in 140 overs. Currently 293 for 6. No batting to come so i am hoping firstly to get six runs to avoid follow on and secondly to stick around long enough so that if be tries to score quickly and declare I have 60 or so overs to bat out for a draw. I fear a second innings collapse though. Those 4 pts for a draw could come in quite handy. Though I am fifth both my next games are winnable and 4th is looking an achievable target.

Very pleasantly surprised to see we skittled them for 56 in the second innings for a 2 day victory.

Nobody at invigorated today so should hopefully have a fully fit team for tomorrow.

The first time in god knows how long that we haven't bowled out a team in FC, ended the day on

End of Over 46 (7 runs). Southend United: 195-2, runrate=4.24 (1st Inn: 192-10)
Lead by 19 runs. (Bobbys Gentle Touch 368-5 dec)
Butt 8-1-27-1
Marcel* 100 (123 balls)
Wright 53 (83 balls)
Last Wicket: Artell c. Strydom b. Butt 32 (FOW: 62/2)

Looking to bat the day out.
