FC - Match 3

BILLERICAY BLUE

Rose Tinted Brigade Member⭐⭐🦐
BATTY SHRIMPERS v Stumpys

We can tell you that Stumpys won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

Bit short today, as Schoeman, Middleton, Begg and Pollock are all Energetic or worse, so don't play. I'll be quite happy with a draw to be honest.

Edit - Looks like I've had a result. Oppo has thrown the game, just need Evelyn to get out cheaply now, so he doesn't kill his PFL racking up a double ton.

DIBS DIPPERS v Ultraviolets

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

Mrs BB's left a couple out due to PFL probs.

Welcome to Milton Fenners for the match between Butt Lane Blasters and Napster's XI.

We can tell you that Napster's XI won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Lets join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

End of Over 5 (8 runs). Napster's XI: 25-1, runrate=5.00
Fu 1-0-8-0
Jefferson* 17 (14 balls)
Shah 8 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Allan b. Garrity 0 (FOW: 14/1)

Allan lets me down again!!!

Would have liked to have won that toss, going to be a long day of toil I suspect.

Welcome to Garon Park for the match between ShrimperZone CC and Inter Lancs.

We can tell you that Inter Lancs won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

End of Over 7 (1 runs). Inter Lancs: 9-0, runrate=1.29
Sutherland 4-1-4-0
Hardy* 6 (18 balls)
Westhead 1 (25 balls)

Napster said:
But then he is on low fitness. Bugger.
You need to sort that out Naps. At that low he might as well not play anyway, as he's going to be pretty rubbish (as proved so far), and he's going to take a hit for playing all three days if it goes that far. I'd rest him up until he gets to Energetic at least.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Stumpys

Stumpys won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 17 (12 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 122-0, runrate=7.18
Dixon 9-0-66-0
Nagendranath* 63 (51 balls)
Evelyn 59 (51 balls)

Might be able to get this finished in a day, although I'm not sure we have the bowling out to do so. Going to be an easy win anyway.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB in a spot of bother as she doesn't have a great deal of batting today.

DIBS DIPPERS v Ultraviolets

My whole batting line up lets me down again, on a dusty track in sunny weather.

Knight 2-0-7-0
Davenport* 29 (48 balls)

One down but they have a lot of batting, with another day of sun tomorrow I can see this being the first ever FC draw at Garon Park (and only our second ever). Oooh, as I type Mario strikes, though it brings a better batsman to the crease.

End of Over 21 (4 runs). Inter Lancs: 55-2, runrate=2.62
Marriott 1-0-4-1
Hardy* 32 (55 balls)
Cooke 0 (2 balls)

Huge wicket there, maybe my draw assessment was a tad pessimistic!

Schofield 7-1-18-1
Vines* 2 (6 balls)
Hardy 40 (86 balls)

Great bowling performance and we're now ticking along nicely against 300k's worth of bowling attack. Shame we couldn't do that on Sunday against an unfit pile of crap!!

End of Over 6 (4 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 28-0, runrate=4.67
Trail by 107 runs. (Inter Lancs 135-10)

Happy to creep up to 200 from the rotten start. My top order may score some runs soon.

280 would be a good effort from Mrs BB given the team she's got out.
