Question Fantasy Dinner Party

Stephen Fry - Got to have one somewhat adult yet up for a laugh guy around
Jeremy Clarkson - Someone to talk about cars (and besides which, his journalism about everything else is hilarious)
Alan Davies - If only to have Fry take the mick out of him.
Richard Hammond - Brilliantly funny, even if he has got hampster teeth and is a midget.
David Tennant - Looks good in a suit, and is brilliantly barmy to boot.
John Barrowman (he's part Scottish) - Because who doesn't like the guy?

Could substitute Hammond and Tennant for the boys quite happily actually, and Hammond's about the same size too!

I don't do dinner parties because I'm.not a pretentious middle class ****. However I'd love to meet the following people for drink.in the pub -

Lauren Laverne - Always fancied her and as she's shown as host of the Culture Show she is intelligent and funny as well.
Danny Baker - Down to earth, intelligent, funny and passionate about football.
Paul Mcartney - A 20th century cultural icon.
Micheal Palin - For all the reasons other people have given.
David Frost - Has met and interviewed the great and the good of the last 40 years - imagine the anecdotes.

You are probably right - but if I have to be that to avoid falling into the trap of hosting dull dinner parties and talking about houses, schools and the lack.of respect in society today then so be it

Its no different than going down the pub or to a restaurant. If your guests are interesting enough, you won't have a dull evening.

The moment you say dinner party, you usually think dull middle age, middle class or wannabe middle class, bores! I'm sure none of that applies to us! ;)
