A bloke diving off a sea wall about 6 metres high, misjudging it and smashing his face on a rock, before flopping into the sea.
The injuries he sustained were sickening (he split his head wide open from forehead to chin, right down the middle) and was still breathing in the operating room, whilst the docs where trying to push his head back together.

A man jumping off a cliff into the sea, but not jumping properly and basically, not that you see 'the hit', smashes his face into the cliff.
Net result, floating body in sea with lots of visible blood, and then an amateur video in surgery of his head which is basically a hole, yet he's still breathing!!

They have had people with totaly face reconstructions survive so its possible guess it depends on infection how much water got into him etc ? If you notice at the end the surgeon does push his face back together and it looks vaugley normal)
