Give the guy a break! I don't see anyone else rushing to provide the pre-match background, and you don't get better at it without starting somewhere.

Thank You!!

This is purely a guide for anyone planning on going. As I have said, I am doing a pre-match thread that I call "Opposition Watch" on Friday.

This ain't for people who want to take the ****...some people don't get a programme or might not have been to Morecambe before (like me) so they might not know this stuff

Why are you advertising the TZ coach details when they are already well advertised on here and on FB? If you want to give an impartial view then quote the Trust price, for the official transport, or don't do it at all.

Rather than tell him off in such a manner Kay just put a link to the Trust travel site. Sorted.

Official means sweet sod all

You yourself travel with TZ when you go

If you read it properly (LOL) she clearly states that i shouldn't have put the TZ details on there...for some weird reason

That's the pot calling the kettle black. (LOL)

Personally I didn't think travel details needed including at all, I was merely pointing out that if he wants to present an impartial appearance then it would be better to include both or neither. Not quite sure why everyone seems to have jumped on my comment, only Ayrshire seems to have appreciated what I was saying.

What is the selection of pies that will be on sale?

The pies are fantastic at Morecambe, I would heartily encourage anyone going to try them. About 3 quid and really tasty. They are award winning and are also sold in Harrods, apparently.

It was the highlight of my trip there, and of course, as soon as I bought one, we equalised, meaning I couldn't celebrate properly as I had a pie and brew in my hands. We went on to lose of course.

Not a bad ground for a new build, slightly soulless, although at least there are terraces (which won't be open on this visit).

The seafront is pretty uninspiring.

I work about 100m from Harrod's. I am now going in there and buying one. Standby for a rating on how tasty it was!

Bearing in mind Usain Bolt's world record for 100 metres is now is 9.58 seconds, this post was 50 minutes ago. How long does it take you to buy and eat a pie???

Ha ha. Unfortunately that nasty activity called work got in the way! Spent 20 minutes looking in the foodhall and the girls behind the deli counter say they don't sell them anymore. However the cheapest alternative on sale was £4.75 so they weren't getting my money anyway!!! Got a crap sandwich from Knightsbridge tube station instead for £1.80 ...... mmmmmmm deeeeelicious.

Triffic. You do realise that I'm going to have to go to Morcambe now if I want to know what they are like, thanks!!

I can't make the game .... so if you wouldn't mind taking a cool box with you, picking me one up and then dropping it off on your way back that would be appreciated. Alternatively give it to Ben Clarkson after the game (I hear he's quite reliable) and I will meet him at Euston at 9pm on Saturday night - I'm sure he'll look after it for me!
