FA Cup draw - Gillingham vs Southend United

Southend and Col Ewe both travelling through London Bridge?

Could be interesting...

The Waverley?

Doesn't run in November?

Anyone going to charter a boat from the pier then?!

Worth looking into isn't it? And would guarantee us some good press coverage to hopefully counteract the crap we've got going on atm!

Without wanting to rain on anyone's parade I would have thought charter costs would have been prohibitive. Apart from which you would probably only get as far as Gravesend and then still have a road or train journey.

Why do we have to get the bad draw. but i can't complain we have drawn man u, chealsea and tottenham twice in the last few years.

Yes, just our luck. We've been so unlucky with cup draws over the last few years, and we've never made a cup final. No wonder our finances are in such a bad state considering the bad luck we've had with cup draws. Just think, if we were to be lucky enough to draw one of those teams just once every 5-10 years or get to one cup final, that would be really useful to bolster the finances. Imagine what we could do with the bonus windfall if we were lucky enough just to have one of those games, or if we had TV revenues from a game shown on TV?

Oh wait a minute.....

PS - not a dig at you, Tuscany Shrimper. Welcome to the board.
