Southend Elvis
First XI
Much appreciation to COSU for stepping up and taking the reins to save our beloved club. We were ground into the dust by a man who had no care for Southend United, and sadled us with huge debts.I do follow your thought process and definitely nothing wrong with having high hopes, but in my opinion, for what it's worth, it can only be hopes if you don't weigh up the reality of the situation. Take that into consideration and a realistic expectation pretty much manifests itself.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that your hopes for the season comes to fruition![]()
Now that the Rat has gone, we should be looking skyward, with huge crowds and many well healed owners, who wouldn't think that.
For far too long we have been down, now that the tide has turned, we should feel confident, and ambitious to return the Blues to where we belong.
It's good to have high expectations, as the rot has now stopped. Be positive as success should not be too far away.
