Dont know much about it really but im going for Germany.

Poll is coming so not comments please...

Shouldn't this be in the General Football Forum? In any case, I can't look beyond Spain or Germany. They're also in different parts of the draw so should face each other in the final, although Puyol and Villa are big absentees for Spain. I think France could do well too.

I think Spain will really miss Villa and Puyol. I think Holland will finally realise their potential and win it. Would go for Russia as an outside bet.

Germany for me. They always turn up when it matters and it's as close to a home tournament as is possible without them starting an invasion.

I started out thinking Germany may struggle to qualify from the usual Group of Death. However, looking at it I see them coming second in the group to Portugal but having the route to the final of Poland, Spain and then France in the Final. I can certainly see them turning over a potentially knackered Spain in the S-F.

I fear we will be propping up out group with a defeat against France and two draws against Sweden and the co-hosts.

I can see France surprising a few people at the Euros, they have a good set of players and the unrest in the squad seems to be gone.

I think this is one tournament too far for Spain. They've played such a huge amount of football the last four years and I think Madrid and Barcelona both looked jaded towards the end of the season.

I actually have an inkling that England will take Spain down by a goal in the last eight.

Germany for me. Possibly over Russia in the final.

Not too sure of that. I know they won in 2006 when in the midst of a scandal but they look a shambles at the minute. Got destroyed by Russia at home the other night. In fact I'm worried that Italy are going to let Ireland out of the group which, if England don't qualify as well, will be my worst nightmare.

Ha - I was making a sneaky allusion to the latest match-fixing/betting scandal that is threatening their involvement in the Euros.

Italy didn't quite get destroyed, to be fair, despite the 3-0 scoreline. It was played in Switzerland too not Italy. They looked good going forward and Pirlo was superb. In the 2nd half they made a few subs and the defence was shocking without Buffon in goal, and Russia took advantage.

I suspect Italy's games will provide plenty of goals and I think they'll qualify from the group.
