Essex CCC 2019

Watching this on live stream found it hard to understand Essex tactics. Surely its their own time they are wasting by batting on. Warwicks are a side that drop anchor and might be hard to bowl out if we don't have enough time.

The big question, can Warwickshire bat the day out tomorrow? One thing is for certain, Somerset won't be picking up win points tomorrow.

nine wickets to take on final day should be straight forward but wicket appears to be playing better the longer the match goes on.
No Porter is a hindrance but so long as the quicks can keep it tight and allow Harmer to attack we should be okay. Need this win to make the most of Somerset slipping up.

We could do with cloud cover at the start for the ball to swing, but our bowling is strong, plenty of runs to play with
Patience will be the key, Warks will think they can do it 3.6 an over , so will be who gets the early couple of strikes, pitch looking good so wouldn’t be disappointed if we draw and lose nothing on Somerset, both teams on a good winning run so the bubble must burst soon
At least rain not playing a factor in the title race so far

I am very confident we can get the job done today.Fingers crossed we are top of the table by tonight

Warwickshire's top 5 have played 76 fc games between them (44 from the dismissed Rhodes).

Peter Siddle has played 64 test matches.
