Essex CCC 2019

Cameron Delport is signed for the T20s as well.

Gives the batting some guts - don't we also have Adam Zampa?
Really looking forward to seeing Amir again, he was superb for us. Also hope to see a bit more of Rishi Patel, Paul Walter and Matt Quinn.
Does anyone know where Aron Nijjar currently is in his career?
He's 24 now and doesn't seen to be progressing at all. I had this as his make or break season and he's hardly featured.

Hasnot got a chance whilst Harmer is playing so well of getting in the team sadly

Going tomorrow and then the 20 20 starts.Trip to lords on Thursday.Ticket was only £12 for Lords

Spent the day at the cricket. Some good batting from Cook and Lawrence and handy runs from Beard again. Some really poor shots from us and another collapse but in the end we were grateful to make 245 shame we missed a second batting point. With how we bowl still think we are in a good position to win the game although Porter is a big miss.Yorkshire going well against Somerset which is a bonus

245 at Chelmsford this season is probably about par.
Big day for Matt Quinn tomorrow. Sam Cook and Beard preferred over him this season and both have done okay. Down to him to stand up and take his chance.
