Hopefully we can come away with a draw. If weather holds up we will probably have to bat out about 60 overs or so
 
Yeah take a bow Peter Siddle and Sam Cook for that matter.
Still work to be done on a fourth day pitch but batting for two sessions to save the match is a darned lot easier than trying it over three!
Even a very outside chance of a run chase but let’s just not lose.
 
A lot I feel will depend on salary and whether Kent will offer him coaching duties when the time comes to retire
Unless Kent have come into money, I cannot see them beating Essex in monetary offer, however the long term picture may be a different story plus a two year deal on table
