What a blessed signing!!
Who would have thought we would have taken 5 wickets for just 10 runs in the very last 30 minutes of the game. I must admit I thought we looked all dead and buried in terms of looking for getting a victory out of this one.
The table now looks really pretty reading = Essex with 138 points, followed by Lancashire with 109 points. We now have a lovely 29 point lead!.. Although I'm sure our point lead will narrow some what, when Yorkshire face Somerset next week.
I like the T20 blasts, but I wish we didn't have to wait until August now for our next CCC game when we are on such good form, especially when it will be a top of the table clash against Yorkshire, if we can win that one, and although we still have a long way to go, I will really start to believe that we can win this.
