England cricket 2024

Looks like they are going to use the same pitch. Do they not have any other grounds over there?

They want to bring the bowlers into play this time, Hussain and Ather’s did mention this may happen, could be interesting.

The 2nd Test is finely poised but a special mention for Harry Brook's 123 off only 115 deliveries, in a team total of 280.
Was a fine knock.

Good bowling tonight from Carse and then a hattrick from Atkinson.

I still rate Woakes but Carse and Atkinson have played him out of the side. We no longer need his batting to balance the side and that will open opportunities for younger, faster bowlers to take the new ball.

Carse has already managed a ten wicket haul away from home, a feat Jimmy never managed. Atkinson already has test fiver-fors, a ten wicket haul, a test century with the bat and a hattrick with the ball.

The team is starting to look very different with these three, Jamie Smith and Bethell.
